The UConn Pre-Medical and Health Professions Post-Baccalaureate Program uses a holistic review process when evaluating applications. This means we consider each applicant as a whole person—not just grades and test scores. We carefully review academic history, personal experiences, professional goals, letters of recommendation, and a demonstrated commitment to the health professions. We value diverse backgrounds, resilience, and potential for growth, and we recognize that every applicant’s path to this point is unique. Our goal is to build a well-rounded, collaborative, and motivated cohort prepared to succeed in the next steps of their health careers.
